Arts Habitat will present painter, poet and photographer Sandra Gray, at Arts in Progress (AIP) on Tuesday, July 24, in a presentation entitled, "I Specialize in Not Specializing".

AIP takes place the fourth Tuesday of each month. In July the event is moving to a new location, due to the closure of Studio Seaside. AIP will be held for the rest of this season, July through October, at Studio Garden Road, 2200 Garden Road, in the Community Media Center Building, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The event is free and open to the public and complimentary refreshments are served. The first and last half hours are devoted to socializing and community building; the program runs from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Sandra is a retired Elementary School Teacher who has been active in the art community for more than 40 years. She is Vice Chair of the Seaside Art & History Commission, and Chair of the Seaside Artists Association. The association was formed in February of 2012 to provide events and venues for Seaside artists to show and sell their artwork. In 2010 Sandra started Gray's Photo Tours, which provides guided photographic tours and photo classes for visitors. Sandra has also been an Arts Habitat | Studio Seaside Artist since August 2011.
